Have you ever gotten a pack of our Memories & More cards?? They are fantastic!! They are technically made for quick and easy scrapbooking, and can be used as journaling cards. But I always use them for cardmaking! They’re like little miniature pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) that have the CUTEST prints on them, both sides! We received this particular pack at our Convention this year, and it was fun to pull it out and create a few cards with it today.

This “Graduated Paper Strip Card” is the same layout as the other card I made recently, using the Cheers & Sips stamp set. You can see how easy it is to use any print of DSP for this card layout, and they all look SO cute!

I started off with a Basic White card base, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of this is a piece of Balmy Blue, measuring 3″ x 4-1/4″. This is glued down directly to the card base.
Layered on top of this are 4 strips of the DSP (one of the Memories & More cards). If you look closely, you’ll see that I cut the pieces all in a row, so it is like a continuous “scene” that is slightly separated like window panes. The strips all measure 3-1/2″ long, and are varying widths: 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, and 1-1/4″. I adhered these all down using Stampin’ Dimensionals, so that they add some height and texture to the card front.

The sentiment was stamped onto one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes die set. I used the Birthday Memories stamp set, stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with white WOW embossing powder. I adhered this on and then cut off the edge that hung off the side of the card.
The final touch was adding a few of the Party Dots gems. Isn’t it cute and fun??
