It’s mid-October, and Fall creations are still on my mind! I’m also creating lots and lots of Christmas, but Fall creations are soooo pretty! How can I resist?
Today’s card is gorgeous, in my opinion! I was hesitant about this Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack at first, but once I got it and started creating with it, I have really fallen in love with these beautiful images.

The card base is made of Crumb Cake cardstock, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered onto that is a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, that I ripped on both outside edges to give the card texture and interest. This piece measures 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. It’s so pretty, and it’s a GREAT, versatile layout!
Layered onto the vanilla is a piece of the Autumn Toile DSP, which measures 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, and then finally, the pumpkin print DSP that measures 2″ x 5-1/2″.

I stamped the sentiment onto the bottom corner with Early Espresso ink, using the Beautiful Pumpkins stamp set. Then, I stamped the pumpkin images onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Cajun Craze ink, and die cut them out using the matching Beautiful Pumpkin dies. I added the die cut stems and leaves, using Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow cardstocks, and layered the pumpkins onto the card overlapping a “swirl” of the Early Espresso twine.

The final touch is some of the Low Profile Sparkle Gems, which are awesome! They add absolutely NO bumps to the card, which is great!!
This card layout is so versatile, and could easily be used with Christmas prints, as well! We made this design in my September card class, using the Gathering Moments DSP. It was gorgeous, as well! I hope you give it a try.

Thank you for this card, Lisa. I had already made 16 “Happy Fall” cards but as I addressed them to send, I realized I had forgotten several people. I had used most of my fall/pumpkin paper, but these allowed me to use up a bunch of leftover scraps and create another 10 cards!!For the win. So appreciated!!
