You guys! Did you catch Season 9, Episode 7 of the Great North American Stampin’ Show? It aired tonight, and I made this beautiful card for this week’s submission! Don’t you love it?!
I pulled out one of the new stamp sets that goes along with a set of Hot Foil Dies. The stamp set is called Sweetly Sentimental, and the coordinating Hot Foil dies are a bunch of sentiments that are amazing! PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the replay of the video, if you missed it!
The card base is the darling Barely Blush color, cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″ and folded in half. I layered on top a piece of the black & white striped Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP), which is soooo beautiful with the pink! I covered the entire card front with this paper, so it measures the full 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
I stamped the large flower with black ink onto Basic White cardstock, and colored it in with Barely Blush and Peaceful Pine inks. After I stamped, I colored on top with both of those colored Shimmer Brushes! SO PRETTY and sparkly in person!!
My bow is made from the matching ribbon, and I added a few of the darling In Color Butterflies for the perfect touch.
I hot foiled the sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock, using pink foil, and layered it onto the card with some white twine. Doesn’t it POP when it’s mounted directly on top of the ribbon?? I love it!
