Cutest Crew Twirling Dog Card

If this card doesn’t make you smile, you need to reevaluate things!! LOL!! This card is TOTALLY going to make you smile, I promise!! I made this card for Season 7, Episode 8 of the Great North American Stampin’ Show this week, and I love it! The dogs and cats in the Cutest Crew stamp set & dies are the CUTEST!! I started out with a Basic White cardstock base, measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″ and folded in half. Layered onto this is a piece of Azure Afternoon cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. And finally, layered on top of this is a square of the Splash of Sparkles Designer Series Paper (DSP), measuring 4″ x 4″.

Using page 46 of the Mini Catalog as my inspiration, I layered items onto the DSP that are both colored, as well as “shadows.” I accomplished this look by die cutting several of the dogs and butterflies out of Basic Black cardstock.

I colored the dogs using my Stampin’ Blends markers, using a variety of colors (see below). I die cut them out, and then separated them so that I could adhere them all over the card front.

After adding on some paw prints on the edge of the card, and the sentiment on the inside, I finished off the card with a Balmy Blue Gingham bow. I love all of these blues together!
