Scalloped Wishes Window Card

Today aired Season 7, Episode 7 of the Great North American Stampin’ Show! Did you see it? If not, PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video! I WON last week’s competition where I made my husband his Valentine’s Day card, and I’m excited to show you what I have for you tonight.

I used a brand new stamp set that will be available with new Online Exclusives starting March 3, called Scalloped Wishes. It’s a soft, “caring” type of stamp set, and I thought that a soft-colored card would be perfect for this layout. I used Petal Pink cardstock, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered onto that is a piece of the Kintsugi Inspirations Designer Series Paper (DSP), measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. On the inside of the card is a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 3-3/4″ x 5″.

I used the matching dies to die cut out a “window” on the card front, and I love these dies!! I will definitely use them on all sorts of projects! I then stamped the matching stamp in the “window,” using Petal Pink ink, and it added such a beautiful accent.

I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder, and then added die cut dragonflies, cut out of Vellum and Gold Foil papers. SO PRETTY!!!

I stamped the cattails with Crumb Cake ink, and added some die cut leaves and a bow. Finally, I sprinkled on some of the beautiful Iridescent Gold Foil dots, and I thought it was the perfect touch.
