Woolly Friends Layered Card

We all used page 30 for our inspiration, and I chose the bottom/middle card to use as my layout. I featured an embossed card base, 3 layering strips, and a focal point. I love how it turned out!

I featured the Woolly Friends stamp set and matching punch, which I have been dying to use ever since I bought it. Today was the day!

My card base is Basic White cardstock, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of that is a piece of Azure Afternoon, measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. And finally, layered on top of that is a piece of Vellum, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″, which I embossed using the All in a Row Embossing Folder. Doesn’t it look CUTE??

I stamped the images onto a piece of 2-7/8″ square piece of Basic White cardstock, using Smoky Slate ink. I colored them with ink pads (Bubble Bath, Soft Seafoam) and Blends markers (Bubble Bath, Azure Afternoon). Then I layered this piece on top of a couple of strips of ribbon, as well as a piece of plaid-printed paper from the Love Notes Designer Series Paper pack. Doesn’t this give the greatest background to the focal point??

I added some of the adorable little Bubble Bath 1/8″ ribbon, as well as some Moody Palette Dots, to finish off the card front. It is SUCH a sweet card! You can find all of the products in my Stampin’ Up! online store, with all of the links listed below! Thank you so much for shopping with me!
