Sweet Bugs 2026 Desk Calendar

I am currently making pillow gifts to send to those who signed up for my “Cute as a Bug” Stamp Camp, and these desk calendars turned out SO CUTE! I have made them many different times, using different paper packs and stamp sets. These calendars never cease to be a big HIT!

I stared with a Poppy Parade base, which measures 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, and is scored on the long side at 1/2″, 3-1/2″, 6-1/2″, and 7-1/2″. Layered onto that is the gingham plaid printed Designer Series Paper (DSP), and that piece measures 5-3/8″ x 2-7/8″.

I die cut out the cute little circles using the Lovely Arrangements dies with Mossy Meadow cardstock, and I trimmed it down to fit the space. Isn’t that die so amazing??

Next, I hand cut out and die cut out the bugs, and arranged them onto the page. I used a double layer of Stampin’ Dimensionals for the butterfly, so that he would be “tall” enough to overlap the top of the calendar and hide the staple.

I made this little tear-off calendar myself on my computer, and I would encourage you to make one, too! These little calendars make great gifts!
