Petals of Beauty Four Square Card

One of Stampin’ Up!’s NEW Online Exclusives suites, called Brushed with Beauty, is gorgeous! I used the Petals of Beauty and the Words of Beauty stamp sets for my project today, which I featured on the last episode of this season’s Great North American Stampin’ Show. Did you watch?? The card base is made of Very Vanilla cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. I layered on a piece of Early Espresso cardstock, measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8. And finally, layered onto that are various rectangles from the gorgeous new Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP). All of the different prints would look so good with this layout, so just have fun playing with it! Here are the measurements of these rectangles:

Top left: 2-3/8″ x 2-1/4″

Top right: 1-1/2″ x 2-1/4″

Bottom left: 1-1/8″ x 2-7/8″

Bottom right: 2-3/4″ x 2-7/8″

I had fun trying out different layouts, and I really liked how this particular blend of colors and prints laid out.

I die cut out the 2nd to the largest Stylish Shapes die for the Calypso Coral circle, and then used my 2-3/8″ punch for the Very Vanilla sentiment. I stamped the flowers using Calypso Coral and Petal Pink ink pads, and then added the leaves using Mossy Meadow ink.

My sentiment was stamped using Early Espresso ink, from the Words of Beauty stamp set. I layered these on top of some of the leaf dies from the matching die set, as well as a swirl of the Irregular Weave Trim ribbon. I love this stuff–the natural color and the fun texture are amazing!

The final touch was sprinkling on a few of the Pearls of Beauty gems, and voila! I hope you give this awesome layout a try!
