Fluffy Squirrel Ripped Edge Card

Today’s card was made using inspiration from page 17 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. I focused on the paper ripping technique, which I’m thrilled is back on trend again! I love this fun and easy technique!

My card base is made from Crumb Cake cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″, and folded in half. I used the Fluffy Squirrel stamp set and matching punch by Stampin’ Up! to create this card, and it’s adorable! I also used the Gathering Moments Designer Series Paper (DSP), which is full of GORGEOUS prints.

I ripped part of the front off of the card, and then layered 1-1/4″ ripped pieces of DSP to fill in the gap. It looks so great when it’s finished! You can choose SO many different paper prints for this technique.

I stamped the squirrel onto a 2-3/8″ circle punch, using Crumb Cake and Early Espresso inks. I also decorated the front of the card with some of our new fall ribbons in the mini catalog, which I also love!
