It’s time to start creating projects for FALL!! Can you believe it?? It’s going to be hot here in the PNW this weekend, but I’ve got all the Fall vibes going in my craft room right now. Gotta LOVE the new Fall product suites that are going Live in the new Online Exclusives and Holiday Mini Catalog by Stampin’ Up! on September 3, 2025!
Today’s fun card is, I think, called a Pinwheel card. The layout, when finished, looks like a pinwheel! It’s sooo pretty using the new Gathering Together Designer Series Paper (DSP), which has gorgeous prints and gold foil. I LOVE it!

PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. You can see exactly how to do the cutting and putting it together! MUCH easier than trying to explain with words.
My card base is made out of Basic Beige, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of that is a piece of Cajun Craze, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. And finally, layered onto that is another piece of Basic Beige, measuring 3-3/4″ x 5″.
Next, I chose 4 different prints of DSP, and cut them down to rectangles measuring 1-5/8″ x 2-1/4″. I cut the rectangles from the BOTTOM LEFT to the UPPER RIGHT corners, using my Paper Trimmer. Then I arranged them onto the card base, so that they looked exactly like I wanted, before adhering them down using Liquid Glue. I also used a very cool technique to get them to lay down perfectly…using Glad Press & Seal! You’ve got to check out the video to see what I’m talking about!

After adhering down the DSP triangles, I dressed up the card using a label that I die cut out using the Nested Essentials dies, stamping the sentiment with Early Espresso ink. I also stamped and die cut out several leaves onto Basic White cardstock, using Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive inks. I love how these look! I arranged them all onto the card front, and added some of our new Old Olive Linen Thread and the new Streaked Dots gems.

Layered underneath all of this is one gigantic leaf, that I die cut out of Vellum. PLEASE CLICK HERE to go to my Amazon affiliate shop to grab a package of vellum! It is so fantastic…I love it! I wish Stampin’ Up! still sold it, but I’m glad I can still find it on Amazon.
I think I hit this one out of the park, don’t you?? Let me know what you think! We’re using the Gathering Moments product suite in my September card class kits, and registration is still open until Sept. 4. PLEASE CLICK HERE to register! I’d love to have you.
