I am absolutely THRILLED that Spring is here, and Easter is on its way! I love pulling out the floral stamp sets, as well as the bunnies and carrots! The Storybook Friends stamp set, dies, and coordinating Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper (DSP) are PERFECT for Spring, and I love today’s project!
I made a simple Gatefold Fun Fold card today, and I love this design because you get to enjoy both sides of the darling DSP. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch how I made this card, because you’re going to want to copy this design for sure!

I started out with a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Layered on top of that is a piece of the darling DSP, which measures 5-1/4″ x 8″, and is scored on the long side at 2″ and 6″. This creates the gatefold card.
Before attaching the DSP to the card base, I slid a piece of ribbon down so that I could use this to tie the card closed. Doesn’t look great?? And then I layered an easy, quick focal point onto the front of the card, making sure only to attach it to the left-hand side so that I didn’t glue the card closed!

I used the Spotlight on Nature dies for the focal point, die cutting the circles out of Basic Beige and Mossy Meadow cardstocks. Then I used the adorable die cut images straight from the pack of DSP, which looks so perfect! I used my hobby knife to make a slit, so that I could tuck in the veggies into the wheelbarrow, and I layered this onto the circles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the image with Black Memento ink, and colored it in with my Stampin’ Blends markers. This piece of Basic Beige cardstock measures 3-3/4″ x 5″.
What do you think? I absolutely love this adorable card for Spring!
