I’ve mentioned before how much my husband and I enjoy working in our yard. We have a huge vegetable garden, and it is a delight to me! I just picked our first batch of green beans yesterday, and I can’t wait to eat them for dinner. Garden-grown green beans and tomatoes are my absolute favorites!
I love the Market Goodness stamp set, dies, and Designer Series Paper (DSP) by Stampin’ Up! because they are SO adorable! They remind me of summertime, which is my absolute favorite time of year. Give me sunshine, fresh veggies, and a book, and I’m good to go for months! Well, maybe add a glass of unsweetened iced tea, too. Then I’ll be completely happy!
The layout of this card is really easy, yet eye-catching. Notice how the sentiment is on the right-hand side of the Basic White cardstock piece, and then an image is on the left. You could easily change up the DSP, use a different image, and then create a completely different card. I’ll do that later this week, to show you how easy it is! It’s good to be able to look at card layouts, and then pull out what YOU have, and make the card your own.
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. It’s SO easy, using the DSP as the focal point of this card!
I started with a Basic White card base, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and folded in half. You can’t even see the card base, because I covered it completely with a piece of the woodgrain-printed To Market DSP, measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Next, I layered a little piece of the Pumpkin Pie polka-dotted DSP print, measuring 3″ x 3-3/4″. Finally, I layered onto that a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″.
I stamped the sentiment onto the piece of Basic White cardstock, using Garden Green ink. This sentiment is adorable, and it’s part of the stamp set. I love that you can use it for a “bunch” of veggies, but you can also use it for a “bunch” of flowers, which are also included in the images in the DSP pack!
All of the images are cut directly out of the DSP, and adhered together and mounted onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the dies to cut out most of the vegetables, and then I hand cut out the basket and the orange bell peppers (there is no die for that one…I wonder why?!).
The final touch was adding a little bow onto the basket, using our Linen Thread (a staple in EVERY crafter’s stash!!). I use it ALL the time!
I hope you’ll give this simple card layout a try, using what YOU have in your stash.

No, not yet. Getting caught up on some other cards I am making. Sometimes there aren’t enough hours in the day.
