Have you checked out Sale-A-Bration 2024 yet?? It’s amazing! Each year, Stampin’ Up! hosts the biggest sale of the year, and it lasts for 2 months! This year’s Sale-A-Bration (SAB) will last until the end of February, 2024, and there are so many adorable things in the SAB catalog for you to choose from. But don’t forget…all items in the SAB catalog are on a first-come, first-served basis! They’re only available until they sell out! If there’s something you’re dying to have, be sure to grab it before it’s gone!
During SAB, you get to choose an item for FREE for every $50 USD (before tax & shipping) that you spend. The Jungle Pals stamp set, along with the coordinating dies, are some of the freebies from which you can choose! The die set is a $100 freebie, and the stamp set is a $50 freebie. And, they’re adorable! The SAB catalog, in its entirety, can be viewed on my Stampin’ Up! website, and there is a link to my website here in my blog.
Today’s card was made from a layout I saw online. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. It’s such a cute one, and this fun fold layout is really great!
My card base is Basic White cardstock, and the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that I layered on is part of the Brights 6″ x 6″ pack. I used the Granny Apple Green paper, choosing two of the different designs. For the actual measurements of the DSP, as well as the card base, you can click here to go to Ludivine Bertois’ fabulous blog where I found these measurements!
After adhering the DSP onto the card base, I added a 1″ x 10″ belly band, adhering the band in the front. This is the best way to adhere your belly bands, because then the ends are hidden underneath the decoration on the front of your card. I die cut out a circle from the Stylish Shapes dies, from Basic White cardstock, and used this as my main focal point of the front of the card.
Next, I die cut out a tree trunk (Pecan Pie cardstock) and two leaves (Garden Green cardstock) from the Jungle Pals dies, and added these to the circle. I trimmed the ends of the tree trunk, and tucked the leaves beneath the trunk.
Next, I stamped the toucan, using Black Memento ink, onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. I colored him in with lots of different colors, after Googling what toucans normally look like! I wasn’t sure exactly how their beaks or feathers are colored, so I needed to do a little research. Ha! You can see the complete list of the colors I used tagged here at the bottom of my post, linked to my online Stampin’ Up! store.
I die cut out the toucan using the Jungle Pals dies, and then put him onto the tree branch using Stampin’ Dimensionals. He looks so cute!!
Finally, I added a “Hello” sentiment from another fabulous SAB freebie, called Heartfelt Hellos, with Black Memento ink directly onto the card front. I then sprinkled on a few of the awesome Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds, which look “woodsy” and natural. I thought it was the perfect touch to finish this card!
I hope you love this card as much as I do. It was so much fun to make! I’m excited to use this adorable stamp set more, and I love that it was FREE!

I’m so glad you like the card! I have a clickable link in my post to the blog where all of the measurements are given. She has both Imperial and Metric, and she has an actual picture/map that you can follow! She did a great job! For the additional parts of my card (the belly band and the front circle), I gave all of the description here in my post. Hope that helps!
