Oh, how I love this Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP)! There are so many adorable prints in this paper pack, it is hard to choose just one. Have you checked it out yet? Trust me, you’ll love it!
I made this special “fun fold” card as a birthday card, and I love how it turned out. It is an easy fun fold, and yet it definitely adds a special touch since it’s “different.” Don’t you agree?
I used Azure Afternoon cardstock as my card base, and I love how bright and cheerful it looks with this particular paper design. The little, colorful lines on the DSP really pull it all together! The card base is 4 ¼” x 5 ½”, scored at 2” and 3 ⅛” from each end (on the short side). Then, it folds back and forth until it looks like you see here in the picture.

For the center of the card, I used another print from the DSP pack, and it looks like confetti. I die cut this out using the Stylish Shapes dies, the second to the largest circle size.
Next, I stamped three balloons onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. I used Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, and Lemon Lolly ink pads. Then, I die cut them out using the coordinating die set.
After the balloons were cut out, I used the 2022-24 In Color Baker’s Twine Assorted Pack to make some strings for the balloons. I attached them using our Mini Glue Dots, and tied them in a knot at the bottom. I attached the balloons using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto the card front, using Berry Burst ink. I also stamped a trio of balloons onto the Basic White piece on the back of the card, which really tied the whole card together!
I love how the whole card turned out, and I’m excited to give it to the next person on my birthday list. I hope you will give it a try!
